We sat side by side

The sound of the sea sounded plural

Sunset complementary to the tides

Washed reefs red one by one

& Names floated, lapping the

Heart chamber of the dawn

On the empty shore

The sound of my footsteps alone,

Sounded plural

A white dress – had the most beautiful

Color of my mother

After leaving her, I walked

To become her year of nineteen

Similarly, we waited

For an answer so close to the night

At the other side of the sea,

I measured the scale of life

Rainy seasons being so sparse

The riverbed was like cracked lips

& All the land enclosed

Into a kiss that could never be accomplished

We walked along the bright coastline

I dare not to hold your hand

Cleaner than the sea breeze

Days met like the ocean, we remained in silence

The anaemic love, sounded plural
