Postcard

Here on a bus trip,

          A lot of people are leaving.

                           We will drive a little,

                               Destroy my PhD (we are as good as we are).

                                          I will write to you today, Dear Aunt Ella,

                                                      Getting ready for the big fight

                                                           With a letter this evening. Stay. Return

                                                                    To a promising morning, our neighbors

                                                                          Are as good as we are. They had a mirror repaired.        

                                                                                                 Send me a paper of ice & flood

                                                                                                           Even mountains & glaciers. We

                                                                                                                      Will drive a little - Separated:

                                                                                                                             We are as good as we are.

                                                                                                                                 Beginning of night & river & fear:         

                                                                                                                                           Will write again, Dear Aunt Ella.
